RADM. ROY VINCENT TRINIDAD (PHILIPPINE NAVY)

Rear Admiral Trinidad graduated from the Philippine Military Academy in 1991 and began his career as a Navy SEAL with the Naval Special Warfare Group, where he served for six years. He later qualified for and served in Naval Intelligence before transitioning to the Fleet. In 2008, he completed his shipboard tour as the commanding officer of an Offshore Patrol Vessel.
He spent nearly four years at the Joint
Headquarters Staff for Operations (O/J3) and served as the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Operations (N3) at Navy Headquarters. Throughout his career, Rear Admiral Trinidad has held various key positions at both tactical and operational levels, including assignments in the Southern Philippines and the West Philippine Sea.
He currently serves as the Naval Inspector General of the Philippine Navy and AFP Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea.
As the Naval Inspector General, Rear Admiral Trinidad is responsible for the operational readiness of all Philippine Navy units. As the Navy and AFP Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, Rear Admiral Trinidad is responsible for all messages of the AFP about the West Philippine Sea, foreign malign influence and foreign intrusions into our maritime domain.
